Privacy Notice

Pilot website notice. This is a plain-language privacy notice for the IRN pilot and is not a substitute for legal advice.

Information submitted to IRN

If you contact IRN or prepare a seller or buyer submission, you may provide business contact information and information about inventory, purchasing interests, location, pricing, condition, logistics, and related commercial details.

How the information may be used

IRN may use information you provide to evaluate an opportunity, communicate with you, research potential markets, identify potential buyers or sellers, coordinate questions or offers, and improve the pilot process.

Website form processing

Seller and buyer form submissions are processed and stored by the website hosting provider so IRN can receive and review them. Optional uploaded photos may also be stored with the submission. Do not upload passwords, payment-card numbers, Social Security numbers, personal customer lists, or unrelated sensitive personal information.

Sharing

IRN aims to limit unnecessary disclosure of direct buyer and seller identities during initial outreach. Information may be shared when necessary to evaluate or complete a potential transaction. Do not submit passwords, payment-card numbers, Social Security numbers, personal customer lists, or unrelated sensitive personal information.

Retention

Business inquiry and transaction information may be retained for operational, relationship, recordkeeping, and follow-up purposes unless deletion is requested and retention is not otherwise needed.
